Edward has 15 years’ experience in design and management of Quality Management programs focusing on Maternal and Newborn Health programs. He is an Improvement Advisor trained by Associates in Process Improvement (API) in association with Institute for Healthcare Improvement. He played an active role in design of Quality of Care network in Malawi and also development of MNH QoC training curriculum for Quality Management in Malawi. Since 2008, he has managed over 12 projects in 16 districts of Malawi spanning from Community-Based Maternal and Newborn Health to improvement of care for sick newborns in health facilities. He was opted as Expert member in development of Quality of Care Network indicators for Paediatric Health at World Health Organization in November 2018 and has been involved in the validation process for the indicators.
Edward holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health, Masters in Project Management and is an ISQua Expert.
