CIGH co-authors Global Health Action commentary on HIV/SRH integration

CIGH staff joined with Ministry of Health officials from Kenya, Malawi, and Zimbabwe, AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition (AVAC), and Ms. Janet Fleischman on an important new Global Health Action commentary entitled “Catalyzing action on HIV/SRH integration: lessons from Kenya, Malawi, and Zimbabwe to spur investment.” The article synthesizes findings from a multi-country landscaping of sexual reproductive health (SRH) and HIV services funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and calls for further integration of HIV and SRH services, particularly for adolescent girls and young women. The authors specifically encourage donors and development partners to support government and civil society-led SRH/HIV integration and policy efforts.
