CIGH Director joins with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, World Health Organization, Médecins Sans Frontières and the International AIDS Society in a re-examination of the HIV care cascade

In a May, 2021 PLOS Medicine article entitled The revolving door of HIV care: Revising the service delivery cascade to achieve the UNAIDS 95-95-95 goals, Dr. Peter Ehrenkranz, Dr. Holmes and colleagues propose a new approach for tracking progress that better reflects the actual experiences of people living with HIV. The central argument is that by recognizing, measuring & anticipating cyclical movement through the health system, we can improve the effectiveness of interventions offered to people living with HIV.
