Posted in Announcements & Events

On July 13, 2025, the Georgetown Center for Innovation in Global Health (CIGH) joined global partners at the International AIDS Society Conference (IAS 2025) in Kigali to launch a new Journal of the International AIDS Society (JIAS) supplement on differentiated service delivery (DSD).

The session, opened by Dr. Charles Holmes and co-edited with Dr. Linda Sande and Dr. Anna Grimsrud – with outstanding support from Camille Gourouvadou and the JIAS team – highlighted DSD as a person-centered approach that strengthens health systems, improves outcomes, and meets people where they are.

Speakers showcased new research advancing DSD beyond HIV treatment to include HIV prevention, chronic care integration, and better services for key populations. Presenters included Emmah Owidi, Lynne Wilkinson, Matt Hickey, and Oratile Mokgethi, with moderation and contributions from Kenneth Mayer, Annette Sohn, and Linda-Gail Bekker.
