Dr. Charles Holmes spoke on a plenary panel at the National Organization for Rare Diseases’ Rare and Orphan Products Breakthrough Summit on October 8. The plenary was titled “International Perspectives on Innovation, Affordability, and Creating a Sustainable Healthcare System.” Dr. Holmes provided his insights on applying lessons learned from his decades of work to expand local access to HIV treatment and prevention to supporting greater equity in access to rare disease diagnostics and therapies.
