Betha Igbinosun

Fellow

Betha Igbinosun is a post-doctoral fellow with the Center for Innovation in Global Health. Betha obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree with First Class honors from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and a Qualifying Certificate (B.L.) with First Class honors from the Nigerian Law School. She also holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and recently completed her doctoral degree at the same institution.

Betha is passionate about health system reform in developing countries, particularly within sub-Saharan Africa. Her doctoral dissertation explored the legal, institutional, and normative framework for strengthening health systems in Anglophone West Africa, identifying regulatory, financing, governance, and other challenges within these health systems, and proposing comprehensive reforms.
